Vancouver-based tech firm partners with Salesforce and Slack to enable organizations worldwide in the future of work
Vancouver, BC - July 22, 2021 - Traction on Demand is excited to announce that with the completion of Salesforce’s acquisition of Slack, they’ve officially been named a Slack Services Partner.
The acquisition, which was formalized on July 21 will combine the world’s #1 CRM platform, Salesforce, with Slack, the leading channel-based messaging platform, used by millions to align their teams, unify their systems, and drive their businesses forward.
“The coming together of these two world-leading technologies will completely transform the future of work and the ways in which we connect,” said Chris Bruzzi, EVP of Product Development at Traction on Demand. “We’re humbled and excited to be selected as a Slack Services Partner, and are looking forward to empowering our customers with two of the best cloud-based software solutions on the market.”
As an official Slack Services Partner, Traction on Demand has been building its skillsets and team on the platform, including:
- Achieving Slack Certification across our Business Strategy, Change Management, Integrations, and Implementation teams
- Developing Salesforce Cloud-specific Slack accelerators, designed to increase time-to-value across each industry
- Using Slack since early 2018, including building our own integrations and automations across Sales, Marketing, and Internal Communications
According to Salesforce, the new partnership will provide organizations with a single platform for connecting internal teams, customers, and partners—both with each other and their everyday apps—all within existing workflows.
“Think about this as the new UI for Salesforce,” said Chris. “The Slack integration will make Salesforce business processes as easy to interact with as people.”
“Slack is already positioned as the platform where work happens, but we’ve only begun to consider the possibilities. It will really transform how people communicate, collaborate, and take action on customer information and business processes.”
According to Marc Benioff, Chair and CEO, Salesforce this is a match made in heaven.
“Together, Salesforce and Slack will shape the future of enterprise software and transform the way everyone works in the all-digital, work-from-anywhere world.”
