We’re humbled to see not one, not two, but THREE Traction on Demand products recognized on SFU VentureLabs’s 2021 Ready to Rocket List. In the Information and Communication Technology (ICT) category Traction Rec, Traction Complete, and Traction Guest Inc. have each been recognized as one of BC’s leading growth tech companies.
We’d like to congratulate each of the products, as well as the other winners listed, for their resilience and adaptability this past year. Every company listed has turned a year of uncertainty, caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, into growth—all while providing innovative solutions, services and support to help our community pivot in this new world.
The Ready to Rocket List by Rocket Builders is an annual list celebrating BC’s Leading Growth Tech companies. These companies are identified as Ready-to-Rocket (companies already scaling revenue) in several categories: Agri-food, ICT, CleanTech, Digital Health, and Life Sciences.
Check out some key moments from each product in 2020 that led to this well-deserved recognition.
Traction Rec Technologies creates Salesforce applications that empower organizations to build community. Their flagship product, Traction Rec, provides a robust membership management system for nonprofit community centers to better serve their constituents and further their mission. During the pandemic, nonprofit organizations, including YMCAs and JCCs were dealing with huge disruptions to their programs and services. With lockdowns, employees and volunteers were forced to work remotely. To help, Traction Rec sprung into action to build Traction Gather, helping nonprofits move their programs online.
A great example of this is when the Mandel JCC was forced to close their building with very little warning, Traction Gather stepped in to allow members to interact with group fitness offerings in a way that’s tailored to their preferences. Through the platform, members can attend scheduled live sessions or find their favourite instructors within the Mandel JCC’s catalogue of pre-recorded sessions. Within the first two weeks of launching the community, member engagement significantly increased with over 200 members watching live classes and 800 viewings of recorded content.
More recently, Traction Rec announced their partnership with Boys & Girls Clubs of America to develop MyClubHub. This software solution will unify Club locations, streamline operations and transform the organization’s Club management system, alleviating administrative pain points to allow more time spent with kids, families and communities. Because of their work in 2020, Traction Rec was also the winner of the 2020 Salesforce.org ISV Partner for the Year.
The Traction Complete suite of solutions has everything you need to automate your go-to-market in Salesforce. From effortless account hierarchy management to the most robust assignment workflow platform on the market, they empower accelerated growth Revenue Operations leaders today. Some of the key milestones in 2020 for the Traction Complete team include:
- Breaking $2M USD in Annual Recurring Revenue
- Signing their first six-figure recurring contract
- Growing their team headcount
- Acquiring some amazing customers like Zoom, Asana, and Twilio
In a pandemic year, Traction Complete acquired some well-known logos that were high in-demand to support remote work and helped these businesses scale quickly as their volume of leads increased rapidly.
Traction Guest Inc.
Traction Guest provides organizations with a single place to secure, manage and govern an entire cycle of visitor operations. This makes welcoming applicants, contractors, partners, customers, vendors or investors as seamless as can be. Traction Guest also helps keep sites secure, employees safe and processes compliant—an already important area that only soared in importance this past year. The Traction Guest team was able to use their Visitor and Employee Management System for effective contact tracing and increased workplace security, all to help to keep essential businesses open.
With a global pandemic in full swing, companies faced a new threat—the possibility of employees in physical worksites coming in contact with a life-threatening virus. So what did Traction Guest do? They created The Traction Guest Frontline mobile app which puts the power of the entire Traction Guest platform and ZeroTouch™ capabilities into the hands of those on the enterprise frontline. In a time where mandatory screening questions and developing contact restrictions, Traction Guest was able to implement solutions that made it easy for customers to evolve as policies evolved.
Looking to the future
We’re thrilled to see Traction Rec, Traction Complete, and Traction Guest Inc. recognized on the 2021 Ready to Rocket list for all the substantial development that’s occurred during a turbulent year. Congrats to all the winners once again, we can't wait to see what 2021 has in store for everyone!
